It all started in 2001 when I had to find a 40th birthday gift for somebody who had everything - I couldn't think of anything that they didn't have.
After speaking to a friend she told me about a secret product used by Hollywood Stars - SILK PILLOWCASES -
I knew my friend didn't have one of these so I bought some mulberry silk charmeuse ( charmeuse is the weave used to create a lovely lustre on the surface of the silk) -
I then made a silk pillowcase - needless to say they were delighted with it - so it went from there word of mouth - I started making them for friends and friends of friends
I decided then in 2004 after lots of research to launch a website selling them - at this time there was nothing on the internet about silk pillowcases - but we went from strength to strength - now 17 years later there are many companies online selling them - but we were the first .....
